these are pictures of Annie on vacation with both sets of her grandparents in Columbus ... that's Anthony's mom in one picture with her and my dad in another ... she's on vacation because Anthony thought I'd recuperate better if she were with them ... of course he was right (don't tell him, though!) ... we miss her terribly, though, and I've cried almost every day since she's been gone ...
surgery synopsis: all went well ... Centennial Hospital knows how do surgery right ... my surgery was at 10 AM, and I was back home by 2 PM ... no nausea, and I was actually awake the rest of the day not completely drugged up and out of it ... may sound strange but as a veteran of surgeries, feel am completely qualifed to say Centennial is definitely up there with the best of them ...
wonderful doctor got all the endometriosis, some he said was in the "old places" and some in a few new places (like on one of my ovaries) ... he continues to say I have a very aggressive case, but he listens to me and trusts me to know my body and is truly a phenomenal doctor ... will go see him for follow-up next week and will discuss game plan plan for baby #2 ... will be racing against the "I can grow endometriosis better than anyone in the world" clock ... in meantime, as an Argon laser was used to obliterate endometriosis self is sore and will spend next few days resting on couch watching movies, etc.
of course all has not been entirely quiet (is me we're talking about after all) ... they used a scopolomine patch (anti-nausea) yesterday which I was to remove today ... no big deal ... I disposed of it properly per pamphlet's instructions but apparently still got some in both eyes as they suddenly dilated and became non-reactive to light ... called our eye dr. and had to go in for some drops ... ok, though, as his baby boy (very close to Annie's age) Jackson, is already arranged to marry sweet Annie so turned into lovely visit with future in-laws ... must go rest now ... Aunt Mar, a very belated Happy Birthday! We love you ...
